Bible Stories: The Creation Story
|
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. On earth, He made
the seas and mountains. He created animals of different shapes and colors. He
also created men and women and He gave them everything they need to live happily. Then,
God saw that the people whom He created were fighting with one another, and forgetting their God who made them. So
He chose a righteous man with a strong faith to guide the people onto the right path and bring them close to God. |

This man was called Abraham. Abraham was seventy-five years old when God chose him. God
spoke to Abraham and commanded him to make a journey. “Abraham, You shall
go to a land to which I will guide you. This land shall belong to your
family and you shall be the father of a great nation. God also promised
Abraham a son. God kept his promise and gave Abraham and his wife Sarah a
son whom they named Isaac. Abraham loved his son more than anything in the
world. |
