PRAYER FOR TODAY

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God,

This is my prayer for today. Before anything else I just want to pause and thank You for waking me up and giving me breath in my lungs. Life feels so busy, and sometimes I carry a weight of worries that is too heavy for me. But in this prayer for today I hand them over to You — my doubts, my fears, my family concerns, my health, and my hopes for the future. Please wrap me in Your mercy and guide my thoughts so that I don’t drift into despair. Help me to see the little blessings You’ve scattered through my day, from the warmth of the morning sun to the kindness of a friend. Heal those I love who are sick. Strengthen me where I am weak. Show me where I can encourage someone else even while I’m still waiting for my own breakthrough. When people read or pray this prayer for today, may they also feel Your closeness and know that they are not alone. Lord, renew my heart, restore my joy, and keep me steady. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

DAILY PRAYER FOR TODAY

Lord Jesus,

This is my daily prayer for today — a simple but honest conversation with You. Every morning brings new challenges, but also new mercies. I surrender my schedule, my plans and my decisions into Your hands. Please protect me from harm and from bad choices. Let Your wisdom be my guide and Your Spirit my strength. In this daily prayer for today, I’m asking You to make me a light in dark places, to help me speak words that build up rather than tear down, and to remind me of Your promises when my faith feels weak. I lift up my family, my friends and everyone who is reading this; may they also find comfort in offering their own daily prayer for today. Bless my work, my home, and even the small tasks that seem unnoticed. Bring the breakthrough I’ve been waiting for and show me how to wait with patience. Thank You for being the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen.

As others pray this short prayer for today, may they also feel Your presence right where they are. We don’t always have long, eloquent words, but we have hearts that long for You. Amen.
