Jesusis Salvation

· Salvation cannot be achieved by merely good deeds

‘He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.’ Titus 3:5

· We have to admit that we are all sinners

‘All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.’ Romans 3:23

‘We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way.’

Isaiah 53:6

· We have to believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins

‘For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.’ Peter 3:18

‘But God demonstrates His own love for us in this; while we were all sinners, Christ died for us.’ Romans 5:8

· We must accept God’s gracious gift of salvation and turn our lives over to Jesus Christ

‘For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.’ Ephesians 2:8-9

· We must welcome and receive Jesus Christ

‘But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God.’ John 1:12

‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in tohim, and will dine with him, and he with Me.’ Revelation 3:20
